There are some DIYs that just make me happy; the one you are about to watch in the video below, brought on the much anticipated rebirth of Spring and the fun of decorating Easter eggs. While various dyes have traditionally filled our bowls for dunking, this video takes decorating to the next level.
Three really unique hacks, to do with your kids or just for your own pleasure, are a great creative way to bring a new edge to Easter. Each egg comes out uniquely different from the next, with each of these methods. If you want to save your little works of art, it’s recommended that you blow out the insides of the eggs before you start.
The first technique involves dripping two colors of nail polish in warm water, which results in truly eye-catching MARBLED eggs, each unique from the other. Believe it or not, this tutorial illustrates how to make POLKA DOT eggs, using decorative napkins and egg white as a lacquer; you can actually do this one with any decorative napkin you like. Last but not least, a twist on traditional food coloring dyed eggs; twist a rubber band around it and see what the result is.
