What do women love? Lipstick. The affordable beauty luxury has become the signature for many a celebrity and is a mood-booster for women everywhere, not to mention an effective cover for those not-so-put-together outfits on days you can’t even.
Your go-to lip color might be influenced by the place you call home, according to a new
report by London’s Heathrow Airport. The UK travel hub recently commissioned a survey of the best-selling lipstick shades in 50 cities across six continents, and the results are awesomely diverse. While Londoners prefer caramel nude, bright fuchsia rules in both Athens and Milan, and plum hues are the norm in Rome, Lagos, and Abu Dhabi.
The results show that while New Yorkers buy bright red (as seen on Olivia Palermo, Rita Ora and Gwen Stefani), Londoners prefer caramel nude (as seen on Duchess of Cambridge and Cara Delevingne), and Parisians dusky rose (as seen on Keira Knightley and Marion Cotillard).
It also seems that mostly everyone in Shangai loves sheer coral and in Dublin everyone sports bright orange red.
